Information For Authors

Interested in submitting to this journal?

Thank you for choosing to submit your paper to ABR. This instruction will ensure we have everything required so your paper can move through peer review, production, and publication smoothly. Please take the time to read and follow them as closely as possible, as doing so will ensure your manuscript matches the ABR's requirements.

Article Processing Charges (APC)
The APC, payable when the manuscript is editorially accepted and before publication. We advise prompt payment as we are unable to publish accepted articles until payment has been received. We recommend you review the APC page before preparing your manuscript for submission.

About Peer Review Integrity
All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, if an article is deemed suitable it is assigned to an Editorial Board Member (Associate Editor) who scrutinizes the article even more closely, who decides whether or not the article is suitable for peer review. If the associate editor feels that the article is not yet ready for peer-review, he sends it back to the Author with an explanation of why the article is not ready and what might help it to be more suitable for the journal, and, if found suitable for consideration, it begins further peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. The journal ensures that the peer reviewers are not belonging to its editorial team or the publishing house. We recommend you review the Peer Review Process page before submission.

About Submission Requirements
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor). The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) file format. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

About Authorship Criteria
All authors must be aware of authorship criteria, that allow for transparency around who contributed to the manuscript and in what capacity and should be in place for requirements for authorship and contributorship as well as processes for managing potential disputes. We recommend you review the Authorship Criteria page before submission. From the COI page, we suggest also reviewing the conflict of interest for the authors' section.

About Retracting or Correcting Articles
We always are willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies when needed. Asian Business Review has guidelines for retracting or correcting articles when needed.

About Complaints and Appeals
We have also a clearly described process for handling complaints against the journal policies, its staff, the editorial board, or the publisher. Please review the complaint policy page, if needed.

We recommend that you review also the Aims and Scope, Publication Ethics, Editorial Policies, Indexation, Submission Requirements pages, as well as About the Journal page.
