Publication Fees
No Publication Fee! Engineering International welcomes article submissions and does not charge any submission fees and article processing charges (APC).
If the paper is accepted for publication, the author(s) will not be asked to pay any Article Processing Charges (APC) or article publication fee in order to defray the operating costs. It costs free to produce a formatted article that is ready for online publication and to host it on a server that is freely accessible without barriers around the clock.
Open Access Policy
Engineering International is an Open Access Journal. All articles can be downloaded free of charge. The journal allows readers to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of its articles and allows readers to use them for any other lawful purpose. Articles published in the Journal are Open-Access articles distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
Engineering International is a RoMEO blue journal. Can archive post-print (ie final draft post-refereeing) or publisher's version/PDF.
Blue Open Access means that the author cannot archive pre-print (ie pre-refereeing) but the author can archive post-print (ie final draft post-refereeing) or publisher's version/PDF and making it freely accessible for everyone.
Plagiarism Policy
Engineering International will check plagiarism for all the submitted articles before starting the review. If the plagiarism is observed by the editorial staff, editors, or by peer reviewers at any stage of the publication process, it could be rejected based on the percentile of plagiarism that occurred. If more than 10% of the paper is plagiarized- the article will be rejected and the same is notified to the author. All articles submitted to this journal are initially assessed (in-house screening) by the Managing Editor for overall suitability for the journal. Engineering International uses online tools to detect plagiarism in the manuscript. The Managing Editor will use the Turnitin, Grammarly, and Paperrater software for checking the originality of submissions received.

This journal is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License. Engineering International uses the CC BY-NC to protect the author's work from misuse. Articles can be read and shared for noncommercial purposes under the following conditions:

- NC: Works may not be used for commercial purposes (Noncommercial)
This license lets others remix, tweak, and build upon your work non-commercially, and although their new works must also acknowledge you and be non-commercial, they don’t have to license their derivative works on the same terms.

Digital Preservation
Engineering International strives for the constant availability of published articles and online accessibility. The archive is available online and ready for download with all metadata. If Engineering International was unable to provide temporary access (in an emergency or permanently) the archive could provide with few digital archives. This journal uses the Portico system to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration soon. Portico is among the largest community-supported digital archives in the world. Engineering International published articles are preserved in Portico to ensure the long-term survival of web-based scholarly publications. If the journal is no longer published (access to archive), authors/ readers will be able to view the journal contents.
