Engineering International is an Open Access Journal. All articles can be downloaded free of charge. The journal allows readers to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of its articles and allows readers to use them for any other lawful purpose. Articles published in the Journal are Open-Access articles distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
Engineering International is a RoMEO blue journal. Can archive post-print (ie final draft post-refereeing) or publisher's version/PDF.
Blue Open Access means that the author cannot archive pre-print (ie pre-refereeing) but the author can archive post-print (ie final draft post-refereeing) or publisher's version/PDF and making it freely accessible for everyone.

This journal is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License. Engineering International uses the CC BY-NC to protect the author's work from misuse. Articles can be read and shared for noncommercial purposes under the following conditions:

- NC: Works may not be used for commercial purposes (Noncommercial)

Digital Preservation
Engineering International strives for the constant availability of published articles and online accessibility. The archive is available online and ready for download with all metadata. If Engineering International was unable to provide temporary access (in an emergency or permanently) the archive could provide with few digital archives. This journal uses the Portico system to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration soon. Portico is among the largest community-supported digital archives in the world. Engineering International published articles are preserved in Portico to ensure the long-term survival of web-based scholarly publications. If the journal is no longer published (access to archive), authors/ readers will be able to view the journal contents.
